Research Proposal

Overview..

For our final project, we were given the opportunity to create our own research project based on a topic we were interested in. This project was a way for us to review all the steps that go into a research proposal from writing a thesis statement to coming up with a conclusion based on the research we found.

What I learn..

We learned how to identify and organize all the different aspects that go into a research proposal. This allowed for us to have the opportunity to learn how to have credible sources and where to find them. I was also able to do my own personal research by sending out a survey to our target audience. Combining all aspects of my research allowed for me to evaluate the information provided and let me to develop my own conclusion.

What I could Improve on..

What I struggled with the most was finding reliable sources that were relevant to my topic. This by far was the most time consuming and there was a lot of setbacks on my research since I originally chose sources that weren’t the most reliable.

How I will improve next time..

Use more of the sources that were offered to me such as the library and my teachers assistance. These were sources that I ended up using later and I was extremely glad I did because it helped me move in a direction that I was happy with. The lesson that I really learned from this was to use all available sources in order to get the best information. If something isn’t working for me don’t continue to try to make it work unless I know it’s the right option.
