A Bit About Me

Marketing and Advertising Communications Specialist whose goal is to enhance organizations’ brand awareness through design and other multimedia platforms that resonate with targeted audiences and develop campaigns that will help achieve that goal. I am confident I would be able to asset your team based on my success with my marketing assistant job, internship, and completing my bachelor’s degree in marketing and advertising communication. I am extremely open to learning and eager to gain new skills in the field I am so passionate about. I can also take a lot of the experience that I learned through my customer service jobs and apply them to how to properly market and what really works in a marketing field. I hope to work for a company that cares as much about the products that we market as the people who market them. Some interests I specifically have are a brand development, content creation, web design, photography, video editing, social media, email, and digital marketing.

  • Designed using InDesign and published advisements for the St. Louis Business Journal which gave Scott Properties massive exposure to our target market in the area.

  • Created flyers and other media such as postcards in adobe suites for the properties we managed to make our spaces stand out against our competitors.

  • Updated and managed real estate websites such as LoopNet and our WordPress website with accurate information allowing us to keep brokers and future tenants informed on what spaces are available

  • Developed adoption e-blasts on Mailchimp, edited photography with Photoshop & videos for the animals using Animoto, as well as edited website articles with Joomla.

  • Processed donations with Charity Proud and acknowledged donors with thank-you notes. This really allowed me to interact with those who support us and grasp how much of an impact they make.

  • Engaged the community by creating weekly content and managing the Second Chances Resale shop on Instagram and Facebook using Business Suite informing followers about what is currently in stores.

  • I was promoted three times before I even started my first day

  • I learned the ins and outs of the care for animals and was able to effectively help people purchase animals based on the information that I provided.

  • received the most pal sign-ups during a week at 44%, and our general manager usually averages out at about 36%

  • sold people on an exclusive offer for Petco where are you for every seven bags of food do you get the 8th for free and was able to help multiple customers get into the system so they can earn these rewards.

  • This is where I excelled in my customer engagement.

  • I earned employee of the month twice

  • This was also where I got experience training others on how to interact with customers and be upfront

  • Typically they would put me in front of the store because I always tried to greet with a confident yet friendly greeting and gave them information on the sales that were going on in the store, this is where my love for marketing really started to appear because I realized I loved helping others make the right decisions when they purchase.

  • Usually was in the top three of overall performance

  • Worked with the company for 5 1/2 years

  • Obtained the most customer surveys in a day.

  • Learned the importance of customer service and how to engage with customers.

  • Had a clear understanding of the menu and was able to not only help customers but also new employees who are learning.
