


Imaginarium Brief
My Creative Brief /Research for Petco's Imagitarium
Overview..
We were given the opportunity to create our own campaign for the company of our choice. I decided to work on the sub-company of Petco products that focused on reptiles and aquatics products. I used my research to show Petco why we should spend more money promoting Imagitarum and how we should go about creating the campaign.
What I learn..
Learned how I could sell a campaign with multiple media executions and research. Since this was a writing for advertising class, I started to learn that I actually love the copyright aspect of marketing and develop a love for how design and writing goes hand and hand. I was able to see how all aspects of brainstorming really allow for any campaign to really stand out with logic to back up your idea. We tried all sorts of exercises to practice our advertising writing.
What I could Improve on..
Taking more of the feedback that was given to me to improve my presentation at the end of the semester. When I actually stepped back to make the improvements she gave me on class it made more of a difference then I would have expected it to. I also I would have kept my content more organized and better summarized.
How I will improve next time..
Making changes as soon as I get feedback so I make the best improvements I can. Taking brief notes would make a huge so I have all I need to change in front of me.When it comes to organization, I would have paid attention to where I put certain documents so it’s easier to access. I should have also left a lot of the explanation coming from when I present, not the slides.
